Our range of speed reducers offers a wide selection of sizes and reduction ratios, designed to meet your requirements perfectly. From 15 arc-min to 1 arc-min, from 15 Nm to10,000 Nm, Reckon certainly has your gearbox solution.
CARBURIZED and QUENCHED inner gears.
All Reckon gearboxes carry carburized planets. This heat treatment is superior to any other option, as:

Surface hardness is high (58-62 HRC), which contributes to a long lifespan and a stable backlash year after year
- The hardened layer is thick, so in spite of using the acceleration torque, you can still consider a long lifespan
- The decrease of hardness inside the gear teeth material is very progressive, so shocks are well absorbed (this is actually the principle of a shock absorber)
- The high thickness of the treated layer allows a precision finish (like grinding or honing), which is key for a quiet and precise operation
All our gearboxes are equipped with high-precision gears (ISO 6), ensuring quiet operation, optimal precision, and high efficiency. The planet gears are carburized and hardened, ensuring long-lasting performance even in dynamic conditions.
