Access-PU is a planetary gearbox designed to handle the radial loads generated by pulley and belt systems. It is as well ideal in AMR applications, as

  • the wheel can be screwed directly on the output shaft and its narrow body fits small wheels easily
  • The internal construction is adapted to mobile robots that are asked to withstand frequent emergency stops.

Case-Hardened and Tempered Planet Gears

 

The planet gears are made from carburized and quenched steel, providing:

 

  • long-term backlash stability,

  • increased wear resistance,

  • and the ability to withstand frequent accelerations and repetitive load profiles.

 

Forged-steel cage-type planet carrier

 

The planet carrier is a forged-steel cage, forming a monobloc assembly with the output shaft, which delivers:

  • unrivaled torsional stiffness for its category,

  • high mechanical reliability, able to withstand frequent emergency stops

  • and reduced sensitivity to deformation under standard duty cycles.

 

Rotating flange

 

The output shaft was replaced by a rotating flange, so you can mount your pulley or wheel directly onto it.

Cantilevered output shaft support

 

The entire output stage is supported by two ball bearings at the gearbox output. The bearings are strategically located at the center of your wheel or pulley. This economical design is ideal for:

  • high radial loads (like heavy AMRs),

  • dynamic applications (like fast pulley and belts).

 

Especially suitable for:

 

  • applications with moderate axial loads,

  • systems requiring 8 arc-minutes of backlash,

 

Fast, Secure and Easy Connection

 

  • The motor-shaft interface uses a precision-balanced coupling, designed to minimize loads on the motor bearings and ensure smooth operation.
  • Installation is quick and intuitive thanks to a single-bolt clamping system on the motor shaft, providing a firm and reliable assembly.
  • Each gearbox is supplied with a motor-specific adapter flange, ready for immediate installation.
