Simple and Cost-Effective Architecture

 

  • Unlike our higher-end models, Heliks uses a conventional planet carrier (not a cage-type design), enabling a simpler construction and an excellent price-to-performance ratio.

 

  • The output shaft is supported by two front-mounted ball bearings (cantilever configuration), which simplifies the design while still providing excellent shaft guidance for applications with moderate performance requirements.

 

Low-backlash and helical toothing

 

Heliks delivers 5 arc-minutes of backlash thanks to its highly precise, carburized and quenched helical gearing, ensuring:

 

  • quiet operation,

  • smooth torque transmission,

  • and a long gear service life.

Especially suitable for:

 

  • applications with moderate radial and axial loads,

  • cost-efficient axes with standard duty cycles,

  • systems requiring low backlash without the need for extreme rigidity,

  • projects where competitiveness is a key factor without compromising reliability

 

Fast, Secure and Hassle-Free Connection

 

  • The motor-shaft interface uses a precision-balanced coupling, engineered to minimize bearing loads on the motor and ensure smooth, vibration-free operation.
  • Installation is quick and intuitive thanks to a single-bolt clamping system on the motor shaft, guaranteeing a firm and dependable assembly
  • Each gearbox is supplied with a motor-specific adapter flange, ready for immediate integration.
