Ultimate-CI was engineered for dynamic applications where lost motion is critical. It combines a reinforced architecture and optimized shaft guidance to deliver superior performance in dynamic environments. The Ultimate series is available with ball bearings (this page), roller bearings (TR or HT versions). The HT version also features additional fixing holes and a reduced backlash.

Reinforced architecture for extreme radial loads
- The forged cage-type monobloc planet carrier, integrated with the rotating output flange, delivers exceptional torsional rigidity and outstanding load stability. This one-piece architecture minimizes elastic deformation and maximizes planetary-stage efficiency during sharp accelerations and rapid decelerations.
- The forged monobloc ring gear, machined directly into the housing, further increases the structural stiffness of the assembly and ensures perfect engagement of the planet gears even under very severe load conditions.
- As with the rest of the range, Ultimate integrates carburized and quenched gears, guaranteeing long-term backlash stability and strong resistance to repeated dynamic torque cycles.
Dual-support planet-carrier guidance for intensive acceleration
The carrier cage is precisely centered within the ring gear by an optimized set of ball bearings, ensuring:

impeccable output-shaft alignment under dynamic conditions,

superior stability of the transmitted torque, and
-
excellent tolerance to violent accelerations or rapid direction reversals.
The dual-support shaft arrangement also:
- improves positioning accuracy in fast motion cycles
- increases tilting stiffness, contributing to the exceptionally low lost motion characteristic of the Ultimate Series,
- ensures robust behaviour under eccentric loads and high shock levels, and
- significantly extends service life in heavy-duty applications.
Easy, safe and fast motor connection
- Connection to the motor shaft is achieved through a perfectly balanced coupling, engineered to minimize bearing loads and guarantee smooth, vibration-free operation.
- Installation is quick and intuitive thanks to a single-bolt clamping system on the motor shaft, providing a reliable and secure fit.
- The gearbox is supplied with a motor-specific adapter flange, ready for immediate integration.
