The high-capacity variant

 

Ultimate-HT was engineered for applications that demand maximum load capacity and exceptional positioning accuracy. Compared to Ultimate-TR, the HT version features:

  • additional mounting holes that increase system rigidity and ensure stable operation even under high loads or significant external moments.
  • It also provides ultra-low backlash (1 arcmin in single-stage versions, 2 arcmin in two-stage versions), delivering superior positioning performance in dynamic cycles and outstanding results in demanding servo applications.

Its reinforced architecture, optimized guidance system, and use of heavy-duty roller bearings ensure reliable operation and robust behavior in heavy-load, highly dynamic conditions.

 

Reinforced architecture for extreme radial loads and duty cycles

 

  • Its forged cage-type planet carrier, built as a monobloc unit with the rotating output flange, provides exceptional torsional rigidity and outstanding stability under load. This one-piece construction minimizes deformation and maximizes planetary gear efficiency during sharp accelerations and sudden decelerations.
  • The forged ring gear, machined as a monobloc with the housing, further increases the structural stiffness of the assembly, ensuring perfect guidance of the planet carrier even under very severe load conditions.

Planet carrier guidance engineered for high-intensity acceleration

The carrier cage is dual-supported and perfectly centered inside the ring gear by an optimized set of cylindrical or tapered roller bearings (one on each side of the planet gears), ensuring:

 

  • impeccable alignment of the output shaft,

  • superior stability of the transmitted torque,

  • and high tolerance to violent accelerations or rapid direction reversals.

 

Roller bearings for maximum load capacity

 

Ultimate-HT integrates high-capacity cylindrical or tapered roller bearings, designed to:

  • withstand extremely high radial loads,

  • increase tilting stiffness (thus providing exceptionally low lost motion)

  • enhance positioning accuracy in dynamic motion cycles,

  • ensure superior shaft stability against vibration and off-center forces,

  • and significantly extend gearbox service life in heavy-duty applications.

This configuration makes Ultimate-HT the ideal choice for high-performance machinery, heavy-duty robotics, palletizing systems, presses, vertical actuators, and any application subject to eccentric loads.

 

Fast, secure and precise motor connection

 

  • The servomotor is coupled through a perfectly balanced, high-precision coupling designed to minimize stress on the motor bearings and ensure smooth, vibration-free operation.
  • Installation is quick and intuitive thanks to a single-bolt clamping system on the motor shaft.
  • The gearbox is delivered with a motor-specific adapter flange, ready for immediate plug-and-play assembly.
